My Darling Valentine

For Valentine's eve Rich and I had plans to go try the Not So Fast Food Truck, a local Paleo food truck that we knew was at the North Park Farmer's Market (more on that in another post).  On the drive there, Rich said, "Oh, I forgot, you got a package or something- it's in the glove box."  So I opened the glovebox to see this.

I opened the top package to find a musical version of Outlander, my favorite book series.  Who knew?

Next was the card he made me.  As I opened the card, he told me that he had been unable to locate any regular glue or glue sticks, which he followed with "and did you know Superglue doesn't stick to paper?"  Hence the tape.

The second package was my favorite.  He explained that since he also couldn't find the wrapping paper he used a roll of brown shipping paper that he found (all the more amusing to me since the wrapping paper is kept in the same place as the brown paper).  He said that since it looked like a package he decided to address it as such.

It doesn't get much sweeter than that.  Yes, he knows he spelled prettiest wrong, and no, I didn't point it out to him even though I spotted it immediately and it took all my might to keep my mouth shut.  He noticed it later.

That package contained this book, which is a graphic novel based on the Outlander book.

Seriously thoughtful.  I guess after almost nineteen years together he knows my particular shade of geek pretty well!

Love how much and how well you both love each other (or is it one another? That one always gets me!).
